Madeline is an independent equine nutritionist based in Ontario. With a passion for improving equine well-being, she began her educational journey with a bachelor’s degree in equine management at the University of Guelph. During this degree, her beloved mare, Piper, struggled with weight loss after an injury, which heightened her interest in nutrition. Madeline pursued a master’s degree in equine nutrition at the University of Guelph. She then launched Balanced Bay, a full-service equine nutrition consulting company dedicated to working one-on-one with the horse owner to curate optimal, personalized nutrition plans that are practical to implement. Through Balanced Bay, she has worked with hundreds of horses across North America and globally. Her primary focus is to create optimal and personalized forage-based nutrition plans and educate horse owners on equine nutrition. Madeline is passionate about staying up to date with the latest research to ensure that a scientific approach is at the forefront of her recommendations while also being mindful of practical challenges horse owners face. In addition to her consulting work, Madeline regularly conducts workshops and seminars, educating the equestrian community on the importance of nutrition in equine health. - Bevin Allison – https://www.instagram.com/apbeauregard/
April 8, 2025 @ 3:00 pm EST
Bevin has worked with horses in the UK and US, with her foundation in the UK in the late 90s studying under the BHS system. In 2000, she returned stateside and got her first horse, a Standardbred mare from an auction who was surprisingly pregnant. She was the first horse Bevin backed, and her foal was the first foal Bevin brought along. Since then, Bevin has worked with many horses and sometimes humans in various capacities. Her current horse, Beau, was out of a mare she’s had since around 2006. Beau is coming 7 in April and was just gelded. He’s registered both Half Arabian and Full Oldenburg and is a challenge to fit a saddle to. - Tristram Hokenson – https://www.instagram.com/tmhokens/
April 9, 2025 @ 11:00 am EST
Inspired by her grandpa’s horsemanship, Tristram grew up riding and owning horses. After college, she started learning more about western horsemanship. Tristram took every opportunity to learn from her trainers by analyzing what they asked the horse to do and how the horse was supposed to move. Tristram currently breeds, raises, and trains quarter horses. She takes in horses each month for training, ranging from colt starting to tune-ups. Her primary horse is an 8-year-old mare that she competed with in ‘skijoring’ this past winter. Tristram intends to show her mare in working cow, stock horse, or versatility shows. - Shelley Thomas – https://www.instagram.com/shelleythomas_equinephysio/
April 10, 2025 @ 9:30 am EST
Shelley is a physical therapist who has been treating people for 24 years and horses for 7 years. She has a busy practice treating horses and riders in-person and virtually. She is also a rider and competitor in eventing and showjumping. Shelley recognizes that we ask horses to do repetitive work, travel long distances, and live in unnatural environments leading to problems. She believes improving body alignment and strength as a rider helps the horse but lessens our risk of injury. Shelley worked as a physical therapist for over 20 years, helping people with orthopedic and neurological injuries, and loves mixing traditional medicine with a holistic approach. She has received additional training to work with horses and is a Certified Equine Rehabilitation Practitioner and a Permitted Equine Therapist for FEI competitions. Her business was inspired by her horse, Intrepid, who was her partner for 10 years. ‘Trep’ taught Shelley so much about horsemanship, riding, loving, and being true. He inspired her to take a risk, pivot away from traditional healthcare, and pursue living a passionate life. ‘Trep’ was her horse, and she was his person. - Kate Kudelko – https://www.instagram.com/painted__dressage/

Kate is a young professional based in Brooksville, Florida, specializing in training ponies, small horses, and rescues in dressage. April 10, 2025, @ 4:00 pm EST
Michelle and her daughter, Scout, started traveling full-time with their 3 horses and 2 dogs in 2019. Seeing America on horseback to improve their mental health was the goal. They moved continually for the first 3 1/2 years, riding mainly in wilderness and remote areas within the U.S. Then, Scout learned to gentle an untouched, wild-born mustang at liberty. Now, they stop traveling in the winter so they can gentle mustangs to find them forever homes. When it gets too hot in the Arizona desert, they hit the trails again, following good weather and beautiful trails. - Bex Meadows – https://www.instagram.com/jaybirdequestrian/

April 14, 2025 @ 4:15 pm EST
Madeline started her riding journey around 10 and found herself with an OTTB around 15. They dabbled in local shows but stuck to trail rides and in-hand work. Shortly after losing her heart horse, a young quarter horse fell into her lap. 100s of miles on the trails later, they found their love for eventing and will hopefully make their BN debut this season, maybe with a little yellow horse named Pickle Chip in tow. - Brooke Bell – https://www.instagram.com/brookebackequestrian/

Bio TBD - Alesia Willard – https://www.instagram.com/rudniktheroan/
April 28, 2025 @ 4:00 pm EST
Alesia has been riding most of her life. Her dream was always to become a horse trainer and she worked very hard towards accomplishing that dream. By 20, she had already successfully started multiple horses, including a once-feral mare who was untouchable when Alesia adopted her. In 2019, she adopted an 11-month-old untouchable colt rescued from a livestock auction. Alesia did everything with him, from halter training to saddle starting. He was her biggest challenge yet but he pushed Alesia to work through every fear and doubt she had in herself and her training. He’s now 6 years old and the most amazing horse she’s ever owned and met. Alesia believes in taking things slow, and because of this, their riding journey has been a positive and willing one with no negative or fear-based training methods used. It has given them a level of trust in each other that can only come with time. Alesia has noticed the difference well-fitting tack makes for her horses, and she wants to learn more about the importance of saddle fit. - Francesca LaCosta – https://www.instagram.com/rupawellness?igsh=MTh4c3g4bHJvb2pwNw==
