    :

Was absolutely thrilled when Schleese came up with a western pad that I could use with my Schleese western saddle. When I first bought my saddle I was told by the fitter to only use a dressage pad (remember…this is a custom fitted saddle) which I did but I never liked the look or fit for a western saddle. I was attending the Ohio Equine Affaire and called Schleese to see if they could bring a pad that I could purchase which they kindly did (which saved me the shipping cost). This pad is constructed like a dressage pad in that it doesn’t conflict with the custom fitting that a typically thick western pad normally would. It fits my high withered TWH to a tee, is extremely well made and walks circles around every other pad I’ve ever used. Now, all we need are a few more colours for our western shows!

Testimonials

Hello Jochen, Just wanted to let you know that Damon has improved a lot since using the Obrigado saddle and it hasn't even been two weeks. The bumps along his spine on the left side are almost gone and he is cantering much more comfortably. But the biggest change that I notice is in the muscles just behind the saddle, they are actually loose and moving with each step, which has not been the case in other saddles. I am very encouraged by these changes in such a short time and wanted to say thank you. At the January Wellington Show, we won both of his classes with his high score being 80.8% - we received our highest marks ever at the canter, 8.5. We are looking forward to the rest of the show season and hope to see you further down the trail! Thanks again, we will keep you posted.
