Jochen Schleese Guest Speaker at Equitana 2017 in Essen Germany
Well-known Certified Master Saddler Jochen Schleese, the Author of “Suffering in Silence: The Saddle fit link to physical and psychological trauma in Horses” is honoured to be asked to perform several demos and presentations at the prestigious 2017 Equitana in Essen Germany later this month. As a special guest of his European publisher, Kosmos Verlag, he is speaking on the topic of saddle fitting and biomechanics – and how these are affected by human and equine anatomy. Kosmos has invited Jochen to Equitana this year to help promote the new and revised 2nd edition of the German version of his book there, where it is named “The Silent Killer”. The additional information in new chapters with new photos will be launched with a new cover and new content – and will appear later this summer in North America in the same version in its 3rd edition available in paperback.
Jochen says, “It is always great to be able to return to my homeland in Germany and reconnect with so many of the industry professionals I have come to know over my years as a former three-day event competitor and in the field of saddlery. I am particularly excited to introduce this next version of my best-selling book – and thrilled that it has been so well received in the industry!”
Jochen will available for personal conversations at the Schleese and Saddlefit 4 Life booths as well as at Kosmos, where he will be signing his book from March 24-26.
