    Madeline is an independent equine nutritionist based in Ontario. With a passion for improving equine well-being, she began her educational journey with a bachelor’s degree in equine management from the University of Guelph. During this degree, her beloved mare Piper struggled with weight loss after an injury, which heightened her interest in nutrition. Madeline pursued a master’s degree in equine nutrition at the University of Guelph and launched Balanced Bay, a full-service equine nutrition consulting company. Balanced Bay is dedicated to working one-on-one with horse owners to create optimal, personalized nutrition plans that are practical to implement. Through Balanced Bay, she has worked with hundreds of horses across North America and globally. Her primary focus is to create optimal, personalized forage-based nutrition plans and educate horse owners on equine nutrition. Madeline is passionate about staying up to date with the latest research to ensure that a scientific approach is at the forefront of her recommendations while being mindful of the practical challenges faced by horse owners. In addition to her consulting work, Madeline regularly conducts workshops and seminars, educating the equestrian community on the importance of nutrition in equine health.

    Sydney Steverson is an aspiring equestrian professional who has taken to social media to document the highs, lows, and everything else this industry throws her way. Owner of three horses (one eventer, one hunter, and one “all-arounder”), she hopes to maintain a fresh perspective on all aspects of the industry. Using quick wit and endless optimism, Sydney hopes to pave a path for a horse industry that is forward-thinking in both its treatment of horses and people. There isn’t much Sydney won’t try, and she firmly believes there is a spot for everyone in the horse world, regardless of gender, race, socioeconomic status, weight, etc.

    Elina is a natural horsemanship trainer and has been a student of the Parelli program since 2022. She is looking forward to becoming a 1-star Parelli professional instructor. Elina has been with horses starting riding at age 5. She’s had her first horse, a gray mare, since 2011 and began learning natural horsemanship with her. Elina got a second horse, a perlino gelding, last year.

    Anna Deli is a certified barefoot hoof care professional, primarily practicing in the Mediterranean region. She uses a mixture of trimming methods to achieve the best results for barefoot horses. Anna was educated as an engineer and worked for many years in the medical equipment and power plant industries. Now, Anna works with a variety of modern materials and most developed hoof boot brands in her barefoot hoof care practice. She was initially certified as a Strasser Hoofcare Professional at the Institute of Gesundheit in Germany. Anna utilizes a holistic approach to provide the best care based on the current state of the horse and the hooves. She also provides thermography examinations.

Most of her clients’ horses are paints and stock crosses, so she has encountered her fair share of complications fitting horses with very wide shoulders compared to the size of their bodies.
