A Saddle Just For Women

Female anatomy can impact saddle fit. Unfortunately, many women are riding in saddles that have been made for men, which can cause pain and discomfort for both the rider and the horse. Schleese is proud to be recognized as an industry leader in the design of saddles for women in the following categories:

THE DESIGN OF OUR FEMALE SADDLES INCLUDES:

FEATURES

Patented AdapTree®

As your horse develops, his 3-dimensional back support and saddle area will change. Our saddle’s infinitely adjustable AdapTree® can be easily fitted on-site to accommodate your horse’s growth and ongoing development.

FEATURES

Narrow Twist

A narrower Twist helps to accommodate hip articulation, allowing the upper inner thigh to be closer to the horse which in turn helps female riders to be more comfortably positioned to promote the giving of their ‘aids’ to their horse.

FEATURES

Seat Adjustments

Our Female Saddles include a wider and softer seat to provide support and comfort for wider female seat bones, Patented Crotch Comfort™ to relieve pressure or rubbing of soft tissue at the pubic symphysis.

Our saddles are custom made to each horse and rider’s measurements for optimal fit, performance and back protection for both. As your horse develops, his 3-dimensional back shape and saddle support area will change. Our saddle’s infinitely adjustable AdapTree® can be easily fitted on-site to accommodate your horse’s growth and ongoing development, even to a new horse.

Our saddles are sold and serviced by a network of highly trained, certified professionals across North America and around the world (most of whom are riders themselves). We enjoy the endorsement of many top international riders and trainers – but more importantly, the trust of recreational riders who care about the health of their horses.

Testimonials

Chianti has been my partner for 9 years now. We have done a lot of learning together, but I am glad the searching for a saddle that *might* fit journey is over. After years of trying to accommodate his long shoulder and wanting a forward cut saddle, I bit the bullet and bought and Schleese Merci. We don’t show much, but having a saddle that fits him is the best investment. I know that when I want to go to that show or go on a hunt pace or just hack as long as I can, the saddle is supportive and comfortable for both of us. I never would have thought that a “female” saddle could actually make a difference. And I am so glad I was wrong.
