- Francesca LaCosta – https://www.instagram.com/rupawellness?igsh=MTh4c3g4bHJvb2pwNw==
June 3, 2025 @ 4:00 pm EST
Francesca started riding when she was 5. She did the hunters for a little while with her childhood pony, and in middle school rode with a show/sales barn as a catch rider, showing a couple of the horses from the barn. When she turned 14, Francesca purchased the mare that she still currently has. She presented with some health issues and behavioural problems that led Francesca down the path of becoming a bodyworker. Now, as a bodyworker, she sees the effects of saddle fit on a daily basis and believes saddle fit is so essential in maintaining our horses’ health.

Ben received rave reviews for his clinics, which ranged from colt starting and problem solving to the Vaquero tradition. He presented multiple times at the National Horse Expo and wrote horsemanship articles for a variety of publications. The Longwells launched an online video library and podcast “Life in the Saddle.” In 2022, the Longwells moved to Oregon and now continue to work to achieve their mission: to advance and develop practical skills and communication for the dedicated student of horsemanship. Participants of Ben’s clinics love his knowledgeable, encouraging and quiet approach to teaching. Claudia is a Certified Equine Behaviour Consultant (CEBC), recognized by the IAABC, the first in both Italy and Slovenia. - Alysen Starko-Bowes – https://www.instagram.com/trainyourseat/
June 27, 2025 @11:00 am EST
Train Your Seat is an equestrian training methodology developed by Alysen that integrates embodied rider biomechanics with mental imagery to enhance the rider’s awareness, movement efficiency, and communication with the horse. The approach is designed to fully acknowledge the unique interaction between horse and rider, helping equestrians refine their movement and balance to create a more harmonious and effective partnership. Embodied Rider Biomechanics is the foundation of this approach and focuses on how the rider’s movement affects the horse, how the rider can absorb and redirect forces to move fluidly with the horse, and how biomechanics, psychology, and sensory awareness combine to create more effective riding. Train Your Seat has grown into an international community of certified Rider Biomechanics Trainers, equipping equestrian coaches with advanced tools to help their students achieve true stability and fluidity.
