The Sequence is one of our Virtual Custom Fit System Dressage saddles with the IP option. We kept a traditional look with the interchangeable panel option and high-quality European soft leather with Buffalo leather accents. The Sequence is available in a double flap and offers a variety of size options, thigh block options and configurations to best accommodate your measurements. The Sequence comes with amazing new innovative technology for which we are well known. Our VCFS line uses our Q–AdapTree with infinite adjustability, PSI technology and our patented crotch comfort seat that has made us the choice of women around the world. In this fast-changing world, we now live in, it’s more important than ever that you have options. Our number one concern is the comfort of you and your horse and now with the Virtual Custom Fit System, you and your horse can always ride pain-free.
Definition: Virtual Custom Fit System (VCFS)
The Virtual Custom Fit System is a system where we can effectively and confidently assist you in adjusting your saddle anywhere at any time worldwide! Our system is so unique in that it includes five new exciting features, our 3P Gullet Plate U.S. Patent [11377343], CB Stirrup Bar (patent pending), IP or Hybrid panel options and TruForm Fitting Pad all that allow this to truly be a Virtual Custom Fit System. You have the option of purchasing your own VCFS Fit Kit for $495 allowing you to adjust the gullet plate of your own saddle with the virtual assistance and virtual support from one of our Certified Saddle Ergonomists (CSE). This kit includes our unique Schleese 3D Wither Tracer which will assist you in taking precise measurements of your horse, a unique Schleese Key to adjust your gullet plate, five individual templates to trace your measurements and cut-outs, and last, you will receive 2 Virtual Fitting appointments (available in English or French).
Our TruForm Fitting Pad is unique to Schleese and has been developed for our Virtual Custom Fit System (VCFS) Hybrid saddles. The pad is custom fit in order to offer maximum comfort and correct fit to the horse. Most “shim pads” on the market offer only minimal flexibility when adjustments are needed to correct balance front to back and can often slip around under the saddle putting unnecessary pressure on one of the 14 reflex points causing negative behaviour making the fit of the saddle to horse even worse. Our TruForm Fitting Pad stays in place and has 16 shimming options including the saddle support area.
Our TruForm Fitting Pad is included free of charge with all VHFS Hybrid saddles and is also available for sale to be used under the VCFS IP saddles for $289 (without fleece) and $319 (with fleece). One set of fitting inserts come with the pad however if added or replacement inserts are needed they come in a package for $150.00.

For me, it all started when I was trying to find a saddle for my situation: riding lots of horses but not having my own tack (at the time). Then, I discovered Schleese and went digging to learn more about their approach and their line of saddles. When I came upon the Sequence saddle, I felt like I found the perfect saddle for me. It fits me wonderfully and it truly comfortable! But more importantly, I can fit it to any horse that I ride! Since I don’t have a horse of my own to ride, I ride many different lesson and private horses, so having an adjustable saddle makes a world of sense! The saddle can be adjusted in so many ways – from wither clearance, to shoulder angle, to adjust for the asymmetry of the horse, I am confident that the horse is comfortable and pain free in our sessions. Every time. The Schleese fitting team have taught me so much about what to look for in the horse’s conformation and how to adjust my saddle to better fit the horse. To me, an adaptable saddle is the best investment for sound horse-rider synergy. And I get compliments on my saddle all the time for its pretty details and bling that I ordered on it, and the excellent quality of the work that went into its design. Hands down, best saddle a girl and her horse could ask for!

Well Jochen and Schleese have done it again. When I thought they could not improve on a really fantastic saddle (ProLight) they did!!! I am a bit of a complicated customer combining a somewhat hard to fit super sensitive horse (very short back that can lift in a insane way… this horse standing in his stall or under saddle are two different animals!!!) that changes in his top line quite easily with a rider that suffered a hairline fracture in her sacrum a few years ago. Well my boy has been giving me some of his best moments ever and my lower back is sitting on butter! The saddle just disappears when I ride. I am not adjusting for it in anyway I just ride and don’t have to think about it which is how it should be I believe. Thank you Schleese!!!
