Jochen Schleese Clinician at Midwest Horse Fair

Certified Master Saddler Jochen Schleese has had another successful series of presentations at the recent Equine Affaire in OH, where he discussed Western saddle fit and ramifications of fit for the biomechanics of both horse and rider. This coming weekend he will be a guest clinician at the Midwest Horse Fair in Madison, WI where he will be continuing his series of lectures on these same topics with the emphasis on proper saddle fit.

“It’s always great to see so many of our clients at these types of educational events and I look forward to showing everyone our innovations in the Western saddle industry,” Jochen says. “I enjoy meeting with the other equine professionals who also present at these equine conferences.”

In May, Jochen will be flying over to Germany to lecture at the University of Frankfurt to the Faculty of Animal Osteopathic Medicine May 12-13. The topic is Applied Chiropractic meets Functional Anatomy – Focus: The thoraco-lumbar area: The Influence of Rider and Saddle on the Biomechanics of the Horse. Further information is available at http://www.tierorthopaedie-frankfurt.de/de/seminare/frankfurt-12-13-mai-2017/seminar-information-12-13-mai-2017.html.  Attendance is limited to veterinarians and doctors of chiropractic only.

Jochen will continue his ventures into the field of equine biomechanics later in May, when he will be working together with Jillian Kreinbring, a known biomechanics expert, to film an educational video in Austin, TX on the topic of biomechanics and how the saddle as the interface between horse and rider affects both.

Over the course of the next months there are several further opportunities available for the riding public and all equine professionals to partake in continuing professional development with courses being offered all over North America by Saddlefit 4 Life – 2 day courses and one week intensives.
