Noelle Hietanen
CSE, CEE
With a strong foundation in sales and customer service, Noelle brings a client-focused, educational approach to her role as client services manager with Schleese Saddlery and working toward her CSE certification. Her lifelong involvement in the equine industry began in the hunter/jumper world and expanded through hands-on experience as a working student at a warmblood breeding and competitive dressage barn, where she developed a solid understanding of horse welfare, correct training, and performance.
Noelle’s interest in saddle fitting was further shaped by her background in human physiotherapy and rehabilitation, which gave her a unique perspective on biomechanics, movement, and the impact of poor fit on comfort and performance for both horse and rider. This cross-disciplinary knowledge allows her to recognize the dynamic relationship between the two.
Motivated by saddle fit issues with her own horse, and to deepen her expertise, Noelle pursued education through the Fit4Life Academy, where she refined her understanding of equine biomechanics and saddle ergonomics. She is passionate about helping riders make informed, welfare-focused decisions, and is dedicated to improving horse-and-rider partnerships through thoughtful, individualized saddle fitting.
