Nathalie Schoos - Western CEE

Since she was little, Nathalie has been passionate about horses and dreamed of having her own in her own stable. Although she continued her studies to become a nurse and had a career as a manager in the healthcare network, she perfected her skills in western riding. Liking to share and teach her passion, she became a certified instructor and gave lessons in her free time while realizing her dream of having her own horses at home.

Always seeking to perfect her knowledge, she is interested in the impacts that a poorly adjusted saddle can have. She then registered for certification to become a Certified Equine Ergonomist through the Saddlefit4life Academy.  She now offers, in addition to her teaching, saddle fit assessments to help horses and riders in the province. Understanding proper saddle fit is important in order to raise their awareness, develop their knowledge and improve their well-being in the practice of horse riding whatever the discipline. Correct saddle fit protects horses from long-term damage and maximizes both the horse and rider’s performance.

Natalie is proud to be an Independent Schleese Western Fitter and offers the complete Schleese Western line to interested client

” The Certified Equine Ergonomist (CEE) course was one of the most rewarding I have followed. I wanted to know more about saddles and no one around me had knowledge in that field. I did some research on saddle fitting and discovered Saddlefit4Life® Academy. By learning about their program, I found a certification based on science, anatomy and biomechanics that meets my needs to train according to the evidence. I learned so much throughout the course. I developed new skills which I now used for the welfare of horses and their riders. By also being a riding instructor, my teaching now takes into account the knowledge I have acquired. Many thanks to the entire Saddlefit4Life® Academy team!”
