Lauren Narkiewicz
CEE
Like many of us, Lauren’s horse journey began as a little girl riding at a hunter/jumper barn, competing in local schooling shows and doing short stirrup classes. She fell in love, but it didn’t last long. Money was the limiting factor, and she had to pursue other sports.
Fast forward to age 35, she found herself at a crossroads and struggled to find her way. Horses came back to her and the love affair was back! Now, thanks to her heart horse Gia, a 7-year-old OTTB, her journey in the equestrian world is flourishing.
While she knew the importance of proper riding and “proper saddle fit”, it wasn’t until her sensitive ‘Gia’ that she realized just how important it all was. She had been through many fitters, saddles, and lots of “stuck in the mud” moments with her. But with patience and lots of listening to her mare, she figured it out. This experience sparked her wanting to understand and learn more. It wasn’t just about the riding for her, it was always about the connection with the horse first. She now knows that those connections, while in the saddle, can’t be 100% there without proper fitting tack. This is one of the key factors to a positive connection in the saddle!
She is so happy that she followed her heart (and her science side) to Saddlefit 4 Life® where she has completed the Equine Ergonomist course and is pursuing the Certified Equine Ergonomist (CSE) certification.
Her goal is to help fellow amateur horse lovers find that connection. She can help you evaluate your current saddle fit (for you and your horse), and help you find a possible new saddle solution within the Schleese line so that you can move on to do whatever you love to do with your horse. Whether it’s a local schooling show, your first dressage test, or maybe you love time on the trails, Lauren looks forward to getting you and your horse happy and feeling your best.
