Connie has a long history in the equine industry. In 1981 she was hired as a working student by Christilot Hanson Boylen, who was a partner in the International Equestrian Sport Services (I.E.S.S.) with Hans and Eva Maria Pracht. During the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, she was the groom to Canadian Dressage Team member Eva Maria Pracht, and then went on to various duties at IESS, including Stable Manager, Office Manager and Horse Show Coordinator. I.E.S.S. hosted the 1986 World Dressage Championships, which is where Connie met the Schleeses. Connie competed in the Canadian Dressage Championships in the 1980s and was blessed to have the opportunity to learn her dressage skills by riding and learning from three Olympic horses over the years.

Connie has been with Schleese since 1991. She was Schleese’s first office manager, and over the years has been involved in administration, sales and trade show management, including running their retail division “Caparison” for four years. In 1999, Connie pursued other career opportunities, and then officially rejoined Schleese Saddlery Service Ltd. in July 2011. Connie has been very involved with Saddlefit4Life for the last 5 years and is now concentrating her talents as a Regional Client Services Manager within the United States.
