Natalie has been successfully competing in hunters, jumpers and equitation for over 20 years, and turned professional in 2006 after a successful junior career. Some career highlights include qualifying for Maclay Finals and USEF Finals, Reserve Champion in the CET Medal at the Royal as well as finishing 4th and 6th in other years, 3rd in the JC Medal at the Royal, winning CET regional finals, and qualifying horses for the Royal in nearly every hunter division. In the jumper ring, Natalie has had top placings up to 1.50.
Natalie is a passionate coach and rider who values horsemanship and hard work in all aspects of the sport. She has had opportunities to train with and work for some of the top names, including Olympian Amy Millar, North Run/Missy Clark, and Francis Berger.
Natalie inherited her passion for riding and love of horses from her mother Carrie Bova (Sr. EC Hunter Judge & hunter trainer) and from her aunt Dr. Helen Douglas, DVM. Natalie’s sister Tory Bova is a top hunter rider and assistant trainer at Parkside Stables in Washington.
