“I would like to thank Jochen Schleese and the Schleese saddle team for years of awesome saddles. I have ridden and loved Schleese saddles for over twenty-five years.  Throughout this time, I have ridden in a number of different models of their saddles. My favorite Schleese saddle at this time is the ProLight. 

I ride and train a variety of horses, from the more typical “modern type” warmblood that is leggy and light to a broad-backed big-boned Dutch warmblood. I train wonderful big barreled Friesians and Iberian horses as well as Arabians and even Haflingers. Really any horse can benefit from dressage training and use it to develop confidence and improved athletic ability.  While training, I need to feel confident that the saddle I am using is not restricting my horse or causing pain.  Riding in a Schleese saddle gives me reassurance that the horse I am on has the best opportunity to move freely and perform comfortably and therefore learn willingly.

Most of my students ride in Schleese saddles as well, not because I have promoted them but because they can see and feel for themselves, the advantage that these high-tech saddles give their horses.
