Saddle Stitch: Your Monthly Schleese News & Updates

NEWS:

Schleese Dominates in Australia!

We had such an incredible time in Australia this past month. From an absolutely packed arena at Jochen’s presentation, to winning the Best Small Booth of the Year award, Equitana Melbourne was an incredibly successful and gratifying experience! We are so grateful the wonderful team, Jochen, Odia and Murielle, for doing such an incredible job at the booth & during the S4L courses that followed.

Michelle’s Maple Mustard Campaign

“It’s that time of year again- MAPLE MUSTARD!

The charity this year is through my church, Newmarket Alliance, and 100% of the funds will be donated to one of our regular charities.  This year the funds are designated for ‘The Life Centre’.
The TLC Life Centre is a source of education and support, addressing various life issues in one on one sessions with dealing with Anger, Anxiety, Boundaries, Depression, Divorce, Fear, Guilt / Resentment Goal Setting, Low Self-Esteem, Marriage, Relationship, and Stress. Besides offering practical support with our care closet, diapers and free pregnancy tests, we provide a safe, caring and confidential environment where clients can receive Life Coaching sessions to overcome problems and situations that they currently are facing. http://tlcthelifecentre.ca/
Once again the jars are $10.00 each and my ambitious goal this year is to sell 250 jars so that $2500.00 can be given to TLC before the end of this year. I will be collecting funds either at time of ordering or upon delivery.
Kindly, please help toward making this goal possible”

Rider Testimonial:

“Here are some pictures of me riding at the Christine Stuckelberger Clinic Oct 26 -28, 2018. I gave Christine Jochen’s book as well as a hat. My horse Bigello was the darling of the clinic He went fantastically in his modified Schleese with the new PSI panels. I have noticed a huge difference since their installation and Big sure has as well. Friends came up to me almost crying saying the work in the session, the balance and harmony was so beautiful! Many thanks to your constant support!”

Where is Jochen?

November was an amazingly busy month for Jochen and his team – starting with a very successful appearance at Equitana Melbourne where Jochen’s lectures were received to great acclaim but also the fact that Schleese won best overall small booth! Thanks to Odia for doing such a great job pulling it all together, and also to Murielle for travelling all the way from California to assist at the show and at the subsequent S4L and 3S training courses!
Jochen left OZ on Nov 23 to fly to Johannesburg, where he was a guest at the South African Dressage Forum (another successful appearance!) and participated in a panel of equine experts including renowned biomechanics expert Dr. Hilary Clayton, olympic dressage judge Stephen Clark, and Dr. John McVeigh from South Africa.
While in South Africa Jochen gave two one-day courses and worked with aspiring Saddle Ergonomists to certify them.
In December – continuing on with his round-the-world ticket – Jochen meets up with Sabine and Sonja at the Saddle Research Trust conference in the UK, where Schleese is a sponsor. It’s only a one day event (Dec 8) and exactly 30 days after leaving home he returns to Canada for a two-day respite before starting on a Florida sales trip, which takes him all the way to the company Christmas luncheon on the 21st of December. Then it’s time for a breather as we close for the holidays and the Schleeses get to spend some time with their kids relaxing.

December Birthdays

This month we are wishing Rachel (1st) and Chris Z (13th) a very happy birthday!

Rider
Testimonials

My daughter bought a Schleese saddle for me after watching me fall off my Clydesdale. Since I have been using a Schleese saddle, I have felt more confident riding such a big horse. I find after riding for over half-an-hour, my back was not hurting anymore. The first long ride I had after getting the Schleese saddle was 2 hours! I couldn’t believe the difference in how I felt when I got down off the saddle. I was able to walk ‘normally’ (without feeling stiff and bow legged)! Thank you for making such a comfortable saddle that will fit any horse!
